  • Demographics (Optional)

The information solicited below is optional and intended to give us a better sense of who will be joining us for the meeting. Additionally, we hope to take the make-up of our membership and non-member audience into account in planning future events.

Please skip any items you prefer not to answer.

  • Incorrect member code provided above. Please check that what you entered matches the current member code that your received via email. If you have not yet paid dues this year, please renew your membership before registering for the meeting to receive this year's member code.

  • Preconference Workshop Plans

Each year, IASR offers a preconference workshop with the intent for students (and any others!) to learn and network with attendees before the meeting starts. This year's preconference will focus on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in sexuality research. Further details will be announced in the coming months!

All registered conference attendees may attend at no additional cost. Lunch will be provided afterward for those who indicate plans to join below. Guests are not permitted to attend.

The preconference workshop will take place on Monday, July 13 from 10AM-12PM. Formal conference proceedings will begin in the early afternoon.

  • Social Excursion Plans

This year, IASR has arranged a social excursion to Calem Wine Cellar. Attendees will participate in a tour of their wine cellar and try 3 port wines with local cheeses and meats. Each ticket costs $45 USD and includes the tour, wine tasting, and snacks.

Your registration fee does NOT include a ticket to attend the social excursion. You have options to purchase a ticket for yourself and another if you would like to bring a guest. The venue requires us to provide them with a final headcount the week prior to our arrival. Thus, we will NOT be able to sell tickets on-site for this social event.

The wine tasting is for attendees of age 18 and over. Due to limited space, we cannot guarantee that bringing multiple guests will be possible. If you would like to bring more than one guest and/or a minor under age 18, please contact iasradmin@gmail.com to discuss feasibility before proceeding with your conference registration.

The social excursion will take place on Wednesday, July 15 from 5:45-8PM. The cellar is a 20-minute walk from our conference hotel in downtown Porto. If you prefer, you are free to arrange to take a car (e.g., Uber, taxi) on your own or with other attendees.

  • Closing Banquet Plans

Each year, the IASR Annual Meeting concludes with dinner, drinks, award announcements, and dancing after all scientific programming has taken place.

Your registration fee includes 1 ticket to the closing banquet for yourself as the conference attendee. If you plan to attend, you also have the option to purchase an extra ticket(s) for $100 USD to bring a guest(s) with you. Banquet tickets include dinner and options for alcohol. Ticketed guests are also free to join the welcome reception.

The closing banquet will take place on Thursday, July 16 at 6:30PM.

  • Social Media (Optional)

If you have any hashtags you would like included (e.g., #sexscience) or any colleagues you would like tagged as well (e.g., @the_iasr), please provide those.
